Day 1 : Bangalore - New Delhi

  • Morning transfer to Bangalore Airport

This morning after scrumptious breakfast you will be taken for a guided sightseeing tour of Chandni Chowk, take a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk which was once the grandest of markets in India. Even though today Chandni Chowk appears choked with congestion, it retains its historical character.

In Chandni Chowk you will visit The Jama Masjid, the Friday congregational mosque, known as the largest and glorious mosque in India. It was the last architectural extravaganza of the Mughal Emperor; Shahjahan built in the year 1656 AD.
Following lunch you will drive through Lutyen’s Delhi, driving past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Later visit Qutub Minar : The Qutub Minar, a tower in Delhi, India, is at 72.5 meters the world's tallest brick minaret. Construction commenced in 1193 under the orders of India's first Muslim ruler Qutab-ud-din Aibak. The Qutub Minar is notable for being one of the earliest and most prominent examples of Indo-Islamic architecture. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Humayun’s Tomb : Humayun's tomb is a complex of buildings built as the Mughal Emperor Humayun's tomb, commissioned by Humayun's wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, and is located in Nizamuddin East. It was also the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scale. The complex was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

Day 2 : New Delhi - Agra

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Drive to Agra
  • Check in the hotel
  • Overnight stay at hotel

Morning drive to Agra (5 Hrs. approx.) enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a fine example of a Mughal walled city with defined private and public areas and imposing gateways. Its architecture, a blend of Hindu and Islamic styles, reflects Akbar’s secular vision as well as his style of governance.

Later continue drive to Agra. The city of Agra flourished under the patronage of the emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan and attracted artisans from Persia and central Asia. Agra is where Emperor Shah Jahan engraved his immortal love for his Empress in marble, the Taj Mahal. Agra is still famous for handicrafts products such as inlay work on marble, carpets, jewellery, zari and embroidery work.
Upon arrival check in the hotel.

Later visit Taj Mahal. It is said to be one of the most elegant and harmonious buildings in the world, Taj Mahal is the manifestation of the wealth and luxury of Mughal art as seen in its architecture, garden design, painting, and calligraphy. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 : Agra – Delhi

  • Sunrise visit Taj Mahal
  • Morning visit Agra Fort
  • Afternoon drive to Delhi
  • Later drop at airport for Onward destination

Take a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal.
Return back to hotel for breakfast. Later proceed to visit the red sandstone Agra Fort, renovated and converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time, and reworked extensively with marble and pietra dura inlay. Notable buildings in the fort include the Pearl Mosque, the Diwan-e-Am and Diwan-e-Khas (halls of public and private audience), Jehangir's Palace, Khaas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal (mirrored palace), and Musamman Burj.

Later drive to Delhi (approx. 3 Hrs drive)
